SCHOLARSHIPS
The American Society is a registered non-profit Society that over the years has
provided money, goods, and labor in support of various Panamanian charities. We
have a strong tradition of giving something back to this wonderful country that
we call home.
In recent years, our primary focus has been on education and, specifically,
supporting students to reach their academic dreams through tuition scholarships.
In all cases, these are students who have maintained high economic standards but
would not be able to continue their education without our help. Our goal was to
help these students gain economic independence and make positive changes, not
only in their own lives and in the lives of their families, but in their
community.
We are currently supporting seven students with our limited funds. It costs
approximately $1,200 per year per student. We need your help to continue this
very worthwhile endeavor. Provide hope and a future for these young folks. To

I was born in Panama City. We don’t have enough resources for my studies since Jobs are temporary and many times we don’t have enough money.
By means of this note I want to show my gratitude for giving me the opportunity to continue my studies at this school.
